The Ten Highest Mountains In The World

The mountains are certainly one of the most interesting natural formations, the more beautiful the more impressive have always fascinated man groped pushing it impossible for the achievement of climbing the peaks.

1. Everest

At the top, and that peak, we find that with the Everest 8848 meters is the highest mountain in the world (not counting those submarines) and has been climbed before everyone else so far submitted (May 1953).






2. K2

Unique Mountain climbed for the first time by the Italians and unique mountain to never having been climbed in winter; K2 won the second place with 8611 meters. E ‘was climbed in 1954, a year before the Kanchenjunga. Apart from the Nanga Parbat is also the only one of these mountains doing not belong in whole or in part in Nepal.





3. Kanchenjunga

The bronze medal goes to the mountain with the name certainly more curious. With 8586 meters, located, this time, on the border between Nepal and Pakistan is the only one to keep up with the two tenors in this area.





4. Lhotse

8. Manaslu

Let’s go back to Nepal where there are about forty meters on (8163) Manaslu, scaled, in turn, to three years away from Nanga Parbat in 1956.





9. Nanga Parbat

Monte is located in Pakistan, Nanga Parbat 8125 meters altitude touches thus overcoming the Annapurna for only 34 yards! E ‘was climbed for the first time in 1953, three years after its predecessor in this top ten.





10. Annapurna
